Ajis Interior Creations is a Port Harcourt based finishing and interior works outfit run by Joseph Ajiodo. The business is built around a straightforward idea: the difference between a house and a home is usually in the finishing — the wall that's actually level, the paint coat that doesn't streak, the ceiling detail that catches the light properly, the curtain that hangs straight.
Rather than sub-contracting different trades to different people, Ajis Interior Creations handles the finishing work directly and in-house: painting, wall screeding, stucco and Tyrolean renders, POP ceiling and wall design, fluted and 3D wall panels, wallpaper installation, and the supply and installation of curtains and window blinds. Keeping this under one roof means fewer handoffs, fewer surprises, and a finish that's consistent from the first coat to the last detail.
Where we work
We're based in Choba, Port Harcourt, but we don't only work locally — our team has taken on jobs across the country, including Lagos, Abuja, Ondo State and Osun State, from single-room repaints and feature walls to full interior finishing for a new build.
How a project usually goes
Most jobs start with a site visit, either in person or over a phone/WhatsApp call, to look at the space and talk through what finish you're after and what it's likely to cost. From there we agree materials and a plan, carry out the work, and walk through the finished space together before calling the job done. If you're ready to get something scheduled, reach out here.
Why finishing work matters
A lot of the cost of building or renovating goes into structure — blockwork, roofing, electrical, plumbing — and it's easy to treat finishing as an afterthought. In practice, finishing is what people actually see and touch every day: the wall colour in the sitting room, the texture on the ceiling, the way light falls through the curtains. Getting it done properly, with attention to prep work like screeding and plastering rather than rushing straight to paint, is what makes a finish last and look right for years rather than months.
If you're planning a project — large or small — get in touch and we'll come take a look.
